Stories and highlights
At Ku-ring-gai, there’s always something to celebrate. From whole-school showcases and creative performances to academic success and community service, our students shine. Highlights include the Annual Creative and Performing Arts Showcase and Schools Spectacular, Chess Club success, Futsal Nationals in Queensland, Basketball Tournaments and service through the NSW Rural Fire Service Secondary Schools Cadetship Program, with many more across our calendar.
Celebrating student leadership at our annual Leadership Induction and Recognition Ceremony.
Champions Crowned and Finals Secured - our 15–16 Girls Team crowned champions in the Coffs Coast Schools Futsal Titles, progressing to the Champion of Champions round in Queensland.
Our students volunteer at the NSW Seniors Festival Expo and Premier's Gala Concert.
Our students perform as part of the Dance Company, Vocal Ensemble and Student Production Team for Schools Spectacular.
Year 10 students have the opportunity to participate in the NSW Rural Fire Service Secondary Schools Cadetship Program.
Each year our school competes and achieves in the Inter-school Chess Challenge
