Plate Tectonics

As part of our unit on Plate Tectonics, 9SCI3 have been working on volcanoes.

Students have been learning about what a volcano is, where they form, and the mechanisms that underpin volcano formation e.g. subduction or hot spot vulcanism.

Students were asked to choose an active volcano, research questions about their choice and present their findings in an infographic – the above image showcases the amazing work of students on this topic!
